Welcome to Guilty for Good!

Take a minute to meet our agents of guilt and good. Horace and Porter allow us, and the organizations we feature, to demonstrate some possible reasons for that nagging pit in your stomach with a dash of humor, all for the benefit of a worthy cause.

Horace Mallow (a.k.a. Guilty)

Ok, let’s address the obvious: I am a marshmallow. I am not a pillow or a tooth or any other white squarish thing that resembles a Chiclet®. The best thing about being a puffy, sugary treat is the public’s low expectations. But now I’m trying to reform my lazy tendencies with the help of a do-gooder cat. It’s not easy, because it seems like I’m always wrong, but I’m learning that every little bit counts.

Same goes for you. I mean, that’s why you’re here anyway. A buck here, a buck there, pretty soon, you’re like a normal human and can wipe your karma slate clean. Good luck redeeming yourself, you’re gonna need it.

Porter K. Cat (a.k.a. Good)

Bet you’re surprised that I’m the good one, huh? Yeah, I know that everyone thinks cats don’t care about anyone but themselves, but just because that’s true of 3 of my brothers, 2 of my sisters, and that alley trollop I dated doesn’t mean it’s true of all of us. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve eaten from bowls that didn’t have my name on them and forgotten to retract my claws before playing with toddlers, but I’ve also delivered birds as gifts to my owners and shared the sunny spot on the window sill with friends. The way I see it, life is all about balance.

Guilty for Good is just another way for me to show people that cats, and really anyone, can be more selfless than you think. I’m not here to judge you or your actions. What’s done is done. Horace and I are here to help you see the error of your ways and offer an easy portal for karmic improvement. The first step is just being here, so click that donate button and let’s do some good!
